About the Center
The Marine Education Center is located in Mamaroneck, New York, on the Long Island Sound. The mission of the Marine Education Center is to bring education to the surrounding community. The center is filled with tanks and artifacts that are all from the Long Island Sound.
The STEM Alliance is honored to serve as the lead administrator of the Marine Education Center for the Village of Mamaroneck. Together, we are working to support and strengthen the Center’s longstanding mission of connecting the community to Long Island Sound through hands-on environmental and marine education.

Shoreline Explorers After-School
Fall Program
This fall, the shoreline becomes the classroom! 🔎🐟🦀
Give your child an afternoon filled with hands-on learning, new friendships, and plenty of outdoor fun at our Shoreline Explorers Afterschool Program at the Marine Education Center! From meeting live marine animals and exploring the shoreline to creating ocean-inspired art and discovering the world beneath the water, every day brings a new adventure.
K–2nd Grade | Wednesdays
