About the Digital Divide
The digital divide is a systemic divide between people who have access to modern digital technology and the internet and those who do not.
Did you know that over 50,000 households in Westchester County have no internet service?
Through our Digital Equity workstream, we are working on many levels to bridge the "digital divide" in Westchester County and beyond.
Through strategic partnerships, STEM Alliance-trained Digital Navigators teach adults, senior citizens, and community members essential computer skills, supply devices, and help them connect to the internet.
