BRING HOUR OF CODE™ TO YOUR SCHOOL FOR FREE!
Pre k - K only
1st Graders doing Hour of Code
|
The STEM Alliance is on a mission to introduce children at the youngest age to the world of coding and to spark further interest in STEM subjects. Schools serving Pre-K - K students may contact us to schedule a FREE Hour of Code™ |
WHY IS IT FREE?
The STEM Alliance believes that anyone can learn the basics of coding but many schools don't have the resources to teach and/or aren't experienced in computer science and don't know where to begin.
WHAT DO WE PROVIDE?
One hour of fun, hands-on coding activities at your school, led by a dedicated STEM educator. We provide the equipment and all materials for your PreK - K students. These sessions will be in small groups only, and students must be ages 4 & up.
Regardless of what kids choose to study, their ability to succeed increasingly hinges on understanding how technology works. Coding by definition is a system of symbols and rules used to represent specific instructions.
With coding, anyone can learn the basics to become a maker, a creator or an innovator.
