The STEM Alliance Receives Grant for $7,500 to Advance Workforce Development for Women in Yonkers

The STEM Alliance was recently awarded a $7,500 grant to launch a pilot digital equity program focused on women in Yonkers. The grant, administered by the United Way of Westchester and Putnam is a project of the Pepsi x Mary J. Blige Strength of a Woman Community Fund.

The New York State Digital Equity Network (NYSDEN) held its first in-person assembly at the Central Library in Syracuse, NY. his convening brought together key stakeholders, including elected officials, nonprofit leaders, and state agencies, with the goal of discussing strategic approaches to bridging the digital divide.  ​
