THE STEM ALLIANCE RECEIVES $20,000 SPECTRUM DIGITAL EDUCATION GRANT

Spectrum has awarded a $20,000 Spectrum Digital Education grant to The STEM Alliance for its Digital Pathways program, which serves people according to their digital needs and helps low-income individuals with devices, services and basic technology education classes.

The STEM Alliance was recently awarded a $7,500 grant to launch a pilot digital equity program focused on women in Yonkers. The grant, administered by the United Way of Westchester and Putnam is a project of the Pepsi x Mary J. Blige Strength of a Woman Community Fund.

New York State Digital Equity Network Hosts Inaugural In-Person Convening

The New York State Digital Equity Network (NYSDEN) held its first in-person assembly at the Central Library in Syracuse, NY. his convening brought together key stakeholders, including elected officials, nonprofit leaders, and state agencies, with the goal of discussing strategic approaches to bridging the digital divide.
